The Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission (LASWARCO) held the second Lagos International Water Conference (LIWAC) on 23 June 2021. The objective of this conference was to promote the long term interest of consumers, to facilitate efficiency in the water sector, and to encourage long-term investment and enabling its financial viability.
The theme of the conference was ” Water Security and Investment Opportunities in Megacities; A Case Study of Lagos State.“
FEMinWASH executive members participated in this conference.
Dr. Boluwaji Onabolu (President, FEMinWASH) was a key-note speaker. Mrs. Funke Adepoju (Vice-President, FEMinWASH) was part of the organizers of this conference as Executive Secretary in the Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission.
