The FEMinWASH team, comprising several State Executive Committee members, paid a visit to the State Planning Commission (SPC) on Thursday, 9 October 2025. They were warmly received by the Vice Chairman and CEO, Dr. Bong Duke, at his office.
During the meeting, the team introduced FEMinWASH and presented its aims and objectives. Dr. Bong Duke expressed full support for the initiative, affirming his commitment to integrating policy and budgetary provisions for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) into the state’s plans.
He also highlighted the crucial role women play in WASH and expressed enthusiasm for partnering with FEMinWASH to further advance these shared goals.
